Nutella Crepe: A Wrapping and Irresistible Cake

Ingredients
- 250 ml of milk
- 100 g of 00 flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of caster sugar optional
- 1 tablespoon of melted butter more extras for baking
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract optional
- Nutella to taste for filling
Instructions
- Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, mix the flour with the salt and sugar. Make a hollow in the centre and add the eggs, starting to mix from the centre gradually incorporating the milk to avoid lumps. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract, mixing until the batter is smooth and fluid. Let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator, this step helps to make the crepes softer.
- Cooking the Crepes: Heat a non-stick crepe pan or a regular low-sided frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with a little butter. Pour a ladleful of batter into the pan, tilting it to evenly distribute the batter in a thin layer. Cook for about 1-2 minutes or until the edges begin to pull away from the pan, then flip the crepe with the help of a spatula and cook for another 30-60 seconds. Repeat with the rest of the batter, greasing the pan with butter if necessary.
- Stuff with Nutella: Spread a generous amount of Nutella on half of each cooked crepe, then fold it in half and in half again to make a quarter circle, or roll it up. The Nutella will gently melt from the heat of the crepe.

Lump-free batter: For an ultra-smooth batter, you can blend all the ingredients with a mixer or blender.
Non-stick frying pan: Use a good quality non-stick frying pan to prevent the cracks from sticking and to facilitate cooking.
